Bruce Whealton - Board Member and Developer of the Neighbor House of Hillsborough Website

Bruce Whealton joined the Board of Directors for Neighbor House of Hillsborough in July of 2008.  Just prior to that Bruce had taken on the task of designing and developing the website for Neighborhouse of Hillsborough, this site that we are now viewing.  Bruce Whealton owns a Web Development company called Future Wave Designs, located in Carrboro, NC.  He says, "It is exciting to be able to use my talents in web development for a good cause like this.  I was eager to volunteer my skills in creating a professional, effective website to help us reach our goals of serving the homeless in this community." 

Bruce has a background in Social Work and has long had a passion for serving the needy and vulnerable. Bruce also loves poetry and published a poetry magazine on the web called Word Salad Poetry Magazine which is available here.
